    converting to 3gp videos

    would anyone know of a linux app that would convert a movie file (avi, mpeg1/2/3/4, divx etc.) to a 3gp format?

    It's so I can play the 3gp videos on my mobile phone (nokia 6630)

    I found this while searching for a way to sync my phone with linux.

    This is from a link from the tuxmobil site, it explains how to convert files to 3gp under linux.
