Transferring Neverwinter Nights from Windows to Linux
I've currently got NWN fully installed and updated, with the lastest CEP, portrait packs, hak pack, and numerous other things it'd be a pain to replace.. I was curious if its possible to take my current Windows folder, and zip it up or rar, or even burn it to a DVD and copy the folder as is, to my Linux partition and run the fixinstall and have everything work.

In theory, yes. I've never tried it with CEPs though.

The process is quite easy, I've done it. Works a treat.
Copy your nwn folder from windows to an equivalent directory on Linux
download the linux version (1.29 is the latest full install), unzip it over the top of the windows directory
download the linux update patch (1.64 I believe, but I could be wrong) and unzip that over the top
run the ./fixinstall script
change the file ownership on the directory tree to something that lets normal users play (chgrp users should do the trick, if your users are all listed in the users group)
run the linux binary - './nwn'Linux user #126863 - see http://linuxcounter.net/
