    Audio Devices & Volume Control

    Hey everyone,

Okay, I have recently installed Arch Linux and am having some audio problems. I have successfully configured my card through alsaconf and it works perfectly. Unfortunately, when I go to add the volume control applet to the panel, it says
No volume control elements and/or devices found
Any idea how to solve this?

    Build the drivers

    Dear

Please check the model of sound card you are using; if the sound card is onboard then download the linux sound driver for that model and then build the drivers on the box.

    That should work fine !!!

Sound works fine. It's the applet that is causing problems.
