Parallel Sound Troubles
Hi,
i got ventrilo (VoIP software) working great. I can play ET and listen to people but it hogs the mic input.
When i try to get vent using dsp1 it gives an error about the mic device being in use (with no other programs open) however it still plays audio.
Could it be that dsp1 is only for output and doesnt allow mic input??

Ok i fixed, turns out the secondary audio device doesnt have mic input. So I deleted dsp0, and dsp1 and recreated them but I made dsp1 as the primary and dsp0 as secondary.
This is what i have.
Then i told vent/ts to use dsp1. ET thinks it is using the primary.Code:lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 Sep 22 19:46 dsp -> dsp0 crw-r--r-- 1 root root 14, 19 Sep 23 14:59 dsp0 crw-r--r-- 1 root root 14, 3 Sep 23 14:59 dsp1
p.s. Remember to change the permissions of dsp, dsp1
