WavPack
well, after the ogg/mp3 thread and the audio format discussion, i was wondering if anybody has used/heard of wavpack?
I was reading about it and (I tried this for myself as well) it seems to have faster encoding and (SLIGHTLY) higher compression rates than FLAC. Not to mention they have linux software plugins for it (yay) so check it out if you like, tell me what you think.

Oh, they have a hybrid lossy format as well, though i've not used or looked into it.
Edit: Hmm, hybrid lossy seems to be their main one..

I've used on windows, but not on linux yet. I want to see some of you guys try it and see what you think.
I'll encode some of my flac music to this as soon as i get the chance.
