digitazing and equalizing tape sound
Hi:
I recorded a conference with an old tape recorder, those reporters used in the past, with little tapes.
Well, I wanted to digitize it but can't get good audio
I have an 'NVidia nForce2 with ALC655', with a 'Realtek ALC655 rev 0' mixer integrated in an MSI motherboard. I'm using kernel 2.6.14.
To digitize it I used 'audacity'. I exported it to 'wav' 16 bit format and encode it in speex format using speexenc, I tried both in 16 bit and 8 bit formats.
Am I doing well? How do I 'clarify' the sound of the voice? How may I equalize it?
Any advice would be very appreciated. TIA.
