In Ubuntu,
Code:sudo apt-get install k3b cdrdao dvd+rw-tools

Hehe, doesn't matter it works in Gnome as well...
I use Gnome myself (Debian Sarge).
Instead of K3B, you could always use: nautilus-cd-burner, gnomebaker, gtoaster, etc.
Anyway those programs are only front-end (gui), the important part is to have those: cdrdao, dvd+rw-tools and cdrecord (install by default with all front-end).
Choose the gui you like, it doesn't really matter."To express yourself in freedom, you must die to everything of yesterday. From the 'old', you derive security; from the 'new', you gain the flow."
