Actually it is pretty good for a space sim, there is an online version as well, goto http://vvisions.logical.net/terminus/index.html for the official web site, and follow the links there. I've not asked the terminus message board if any one there plays on linux, but it is good. Lately though, having some trouble, but I'll nut it out with some one elses brains.
Going to try out this Darwinia one next few days, looks intriguing. I'll try nay game for Linux.

you guys realize the game is almost 6 years old now? I doubt many people still play it. And it's commercial.
Cause the whole world loves it when you don\'t get down.
And the whole world loves it when you make that sound.

Yes it is. but I am not sure what it status is now, I believe it can be downloaded from
http://www.the-underdogs.org !!!but watch out for the girls and popups***
Also they have a message board http://forums.myterminus.net/ that still gets used.
Theres an online community as well http://www.terminuspoint.com/ with a sort of expansion.
I am just trying to get it working again, I had it working about 4 years ago, and dragged it out again, but are havving trouble, it wants libc++.2.8.so , and I cannot find it on any reposetry. I think I might loadup old RH7 on something and extract it from there.

Just checked the underdogs, and it does seem to be the CD that is downloaded via bittorrent. The install CD had all platforms on it, Lin/Mac/Win so you should be right, the extra CD's was the music and movie, which I cannot recall if I ever used it in Linux.
For a game 6 years old it is still pretty good, it was just marketed poorly. I came across it at www.elx.com.au The prime aussie Linux supplier (there my little plug) They no longer have any copies.

I can't see no downloadlink at underdogs neither... But you said it was just the movie and music there too along with some patches?
