    As I finally discovered yesterday, Cedega (from http://www.transgaming.com) works beautifully if you have an Nvidia graphics card. It lets you play Windows games in Linux.

    My previous two years of experience will tell you that ATI does not work so well with Cedega. It still kinds of works, just not so well.

    As mentioned in the many threads on the subject, Cedega is a hit or miss product. For some people it runs beautifully, while for others it runs spotty or not at all. Caveat emptor.
