Hello

I want my webradio streaming 24/7, so, if a DJ disconnects, the Server will automatically stream a playlist.
I searched for ours at google, but the only things i've found are for windows or expensive.

Would be nice, if anybody could help me ...
best regards,
bogi

as far as i know both will work you just have to do work to get it to automate like once a dj logs off i think you can write a script that resets the automation back to replay the pre-recorded. its either that or prerecord your DJ and then upload it to the server and the new one gets run in the cycle. look into a book "linux toys II" they have one chapter they setup a icecast server.

Do you know LiveSupport from Campware, for service radio stations? It's a free and open source automation system for radio stations. LiveSupport is the first free and open radio management software that provides live studio broadcast capabilities as well as remote automation in one integrated broadcast server.

Do you think this will fits your needs. Otherwise you can checkout the tickets by milestone report for open future requests or post one by your self.
