Stream MKV Files
OK here's my setup. I've got a CentOS 4 box (Based of Fedora Core 4 from what I've been told) and a Windows box. Now my Windows box is hooked up to my TV in my bed room for those late night Anime's.
Here's what I'm wondering if it can be possible to do. I have a number of MKV, AVI and other formatted video files. Is there a way I can take my Linux box and make it a streaming server and have my Windows box play those files? Yeah I know about Samba and all but could this be done or do I need to convert files and yada yada yada?
Any clues?
