resulution problem in cs..

i changed my cs resulution to the highest choice
now when i try enter cs i see black screen with the little green light in the screen wavin...
i hear sound of the game but no picture is on..
i tried delete and install from begin but didnt help

there is some cmd i can put to change my resulution?please help

What is CS? Counterstrike? Did you install it using Wine?

i installed it normal...

So it is CounterStrike? What do you mean you "installed it normal"? There is no native Linux version of any Valve product as far as I know, aside from the dedicated servers which cannot be used to play the game.
