Xrun problems with Jack!
Hello all!
I am experiencing huge problems with xruns when running jack. I use the excellent qjackctl but can't seem to configure jack in realtime mode. I have tried almost every variant! I have also tried to start jackd from the command line with the -R option but then it just wont start. I have read somewhere that there can be a problem with the kernel, does anyone know anything about that?
My conf:
PIII 1ghz (coppermine), 512 MB ram.
Kernel 2.6.16-9
Suse 10.0
c-media 8738 mc-6
I am getting really frustrated!!
Thanks,
/Ove

Although some of this stuff is gentoo specific, it will definitely get you started on realtime kernels and how to configure jack to use them.

This is specific to just the realtime kernel but will definitely help as well.

Thanks!
I will look into those documents in more depth later. I am sure they will help me out... I am right now into upgrading my suse to 10.2. Hope that one is better than 10.1...

Cheers!
