error recieved
I got an error after I typed in the code.
[root@localhost root]# cd StepMania-3.9-alpha10
[root@localhost StepMania-3.9-alpha10]# ./stepmania
./stepmania: error while loading shared libraries: libmad.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[root@localhost StepMania-3.9-alpha10]#
any ideas?

That's a common error
The answer is actually in the faq on http://www.stepmania.com. Here's a direct link to the rpm you need to fix your missing file error. libmad-0.15.0b-2.fr.i386.rpm
