Question Tools For Watching IPTV/Online TV on Linux

Several major TV stations plan to launch broadband IPTV/Online TV with on-demand capability etc.

Is there any special tools/programs for watching online TV on Linux?
Is it possible to watch online TV using Flash plugin or Mplayer plugin for Firefox/Mozilla?

Can the user run Windows Online TV programs using WINE?

    Thank you.

I'm not sure if it is exactly what you are asking about, but Democaracy Player (http://linuxappfinder.com/package/democracyplayer) is for Internet Television.
