    hi guys,

    i posted a thread yesterday concerning my xine ant totem.it seemed the system just started behaving itself.my totem and xine play DVDs perfectly.no props.
    for vcds xine reads them but it quits almost immediately.totem does the same too.it can play avseq.dat files(vcd files) already stored on the system.but picture quality is not good at all for both xine and totem.mpeg video the same.picture quality also not good.pls how do i fix this

    did it play VCDs to begin? how are you burning your vcds?

    you cant improve the quality; its a vcd not a dvd. is it very dark?
