Creative 5.1 sound card&speakers fedoa5 Alsa setup help needed

I am running fedora5 with a creative sound blaster 5.1 card and the 5.1 speakers.
I am trying to set Alsa. When I run this command here is the errors I receive:

I have sound on the 5 speakers, but LFE doesnt make any sound when running this:

Also I think the right side channel isnt working correctly yet, like when I use XMMS or online radio stations.
Any help or ideas would be great thanks

i managed to turn on 5.1 surround in xmms, but the song doesn't play constantly. it plays well for about 30 secs, then it jumps to the middle of the song...then another 30secs... something like this. i don't know how to explain.

does anyone know how to fix this? i think it's a problem with the buffer or something.
