    mjpg problems

I've got a digital camera that can take mpegs. When they download to linux it specifies type as MVI and AVI. No matter what I use to open it with, all I get is sound- no video. Does anyone know what it takes to play these?

I don't have mplayer. The video viewers I have are enjoympeg, gqmpeg, kaffeine, noatrun, totem, and xine. All of which only play sound-theres not even a video screen
