Subtitles appear on the left of the screen and only a half of the subtitles are visible. Can any one help me

Is the half only visible because the font is too big, or does it just get cut off?
Flies of a particular kind, i.e. time-flies, are fond of an arrow.

Font is little too large too. but in some other movies subtitles are okay. I'm only having this problem in linux when i boot windoz and play the movie subtitles are okay.
