ok so i downloaed "winex2_3.2.1-1.i386.tgz and extracted it into /usr/share but now what do i do? theres no configure or make file?...

    installing wine

    What distro do you use? I would suppose its an slackware package, but if you wan't you can just copy it to / and extrack it from there.
