diablo 2 is laggy in wine
Ive just installed diablo 2 lod via wine in fedora core 5. it installed fine and i even applied the 1.11 patch from battle.net but when i run the game i get no sound and everything runs extremely slowly. ive recently installed the ati drivers and they seem to be working fine. any help?

Certain games work with wine where certain games don't. I dont know too much about whine configuration but if your not opposed to cedega you should give it a try. Its 5 bucks/mo and so far ive gotten quite a few games running nicely on it... I believe diablo II is one of the "officialy" supported games.

yeah i went out and got cedega and diablo 2 seems to be working fine. i havent tried the expansion yet though.
