    Hi all,

    What is the easiest way to edit a divx file? In particular, I would like to copy into a seperate file about ten minutes of a 90 minute divx.

    Take a look at avidemux and transcode.

    do you know for any player for linux which supports .avi ??? like bsplayer in windows

    avi is just a wrapper for a video codec. Nearly all Linux video players support avi playback if the right codecs are installed.
