remote file access?
Howdy fellas, I recently installed Fedora Core 5 and i've been dabbling in Linux for about a week and a half now so i'm new. I have a network drive on XP computer that I have music on. I'm using xmms and i was wondering if theres anyway i can get the files to play directly from the network drive. So far i can get local music to play fine but i don't know how to direct the playlist path to the remote drive. Do i have to map a network drive? How would i go about that? Thanks for the help.

There are many threads regarding that same question, but this one explains it simply :
