Running SC:BW with wine
Hi, I'm sorry if this has been posted before, I tried to search the forum and googled around a lot but I can't seem to find a solution to my problem.
I am relatively new to Linux (2 months).
I'm using wine-0.9.25 on Fedora Core 6, I have an ATI Radeon 9200 and I'm trying to get Starcraft:Broodwar to run. I can install starcraft, broodwar and the update patch without a problem. I can run the single player mode without any problems. When I try to connect to battle.net Starcraft closes and I get:
I can't find out what the problem is. Any help is appreciated.Code:wine client error:9: write: Bad file descriptor

The installation instructions depend on your distribution but just look for Webcore fonts on google. I use Fedora so all I had to do was
You can find RPMs, DEBs, etc onlineCode:yum install msttcorefonts
