    Sound Trouble


    hi, i am running slackware 9.1 and i have a creative soundblaster live 5. the card is working fine and everyhting exept that for some reason the sound is coming out of the digital speaker only (the one in the center) so the noise is all messed up and u cant hear a thing. i know that this happens on windows when u have the " digital output only" selected. but were is this on slackware and how can i turn this off. thnx for you help

    well. i used the bare kernel. i didnt install any extras or something. just the default installation. do you need to know anything else?
