I Need a Good Frontend for LAME

    Hey guys,
So I've got a bunch of .WAV files that I ripped to my computer from CDs (for archiving purposes). Now I want to convert some of them (still a large number, maybe around 400 tracks) to MP3. I could use KAudioCreator to rip them all again and encode to MP3, but seems like a huge waste of time. Is there a LAME frontend out there that will cleanly convert my files and maybe even write the appropriate tags as well, based on the naming convention for the .wav's?

BTW I'm running Sabayon Linux MiniEdition 64-bit in KDE.

    Thanks guys,

If you use Amarok, you can use one of the transcoding scripts to do the converting for you. It also has some pretty neat tagging tools, guessing from Filenames etc.
