Counter Strike Source looks like crap on wine, help!
Hey, guys. I was running source and I get crappy frame rates. I think it is my video card's driver. Can you guys tell me where to get the latest driver for my X800 XL? I have installed an ATI driver by I'm just not sure if it is the latest one. Graphics on CS source look very much like 1.6, sometimes I can't even see my crosshair, health, radar, etc..Can you guys help me?
Here is a
of Source running on Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy
Here is my xorg.conf file link
AMD 64 3500+
2GB RAM
ATI x800 XL (not sure about the driver)

wow, that looks incredably bad. For the latest ati drivers you have to go to:
http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html
There is a table where you select your OS - Card Type - Model
Very easy to use. Once you have selected these click 'Go' and it brings up the latest drivers for your card.

Be lucky it works at all - I cant get it to run on debian... the networking ****s it up.
Not a clue why it wont chage the graphics settings - you have set the ingame graphics right?
