Hi!
About year ago i found an article about vitual midi ports under linux, witch would make me run my favorite sequencer with favorite synth. The idea is simple:
1) load the snd-virmidi module
2) use aconnect to connect the ports
3) set your apps to coresponding ports

The problem is that I wanted to make something like this few days ago, but i forgot about
the aconnect, and IT IS WORKING! Why?

I use ttrk on /dev/snd/midiC3D0, and jmax on "Virtual Raw Midi 3-0::VirMidi 3-0", and no
aconnect.
