in a terminal:
cd into the directory that ET's installer is kept in and then
that will run the installerCode:chmod +x et-linux-2.60.x86.run ./et-linux-2.60.x86.run
you might want to su - first, so it can be installed with root privileges. Here's why Linux is easier than Windows:
Package Managers! Apt-Get and Portage (among others) allow users to install programs MUCH easier than Windows can.
Hardware Drivers. In SuSE, ALL the hardware is detected and installed automatically! How is this harder than Windows' constant disc changing and rebooting?
