PREY in wine

I just wanted to comment a little about a game I just bought calles PREY. The box says requires directx 9.0c. I looked in Franks Corner and it was on the list as working. I opened the cd and clicked to install with wine, after install I updated and nocd patched it. wouldn't run!! hmmm.. I had to copy and paste the "prey application launcher.exe" into the install folder then the nocd worked just fine..

This game is so cool !!!!

So basically, you just install the game. once its finished you have to brouse the cd and find the "prey application launcher.exe". copy it into the game folder in wine. Go to gamecopyworld and do a search for prey and download the 1.3 patch and the 1.3 nocd.

unzip the files and put them into the prey folder. Run the patch. once that is finished drop the nocd into the folder. you should get a message saying that the file already exhists, do you want to overwrite it... YES you do..

Play the game and enjoy.. I hope this answered any Q's you have.
