    question about players with Xine engine



    When you have two players with xine engine, say Codeine and Kaffeine, that means that both are using the same "physical" (files) engine, or each has its own copy of the engine, that may differ in its version?

    I'm asking because I have these two players, and somehow Codeine does not play all the files Kaffeine plays...

    Most of the files they use are the same (think of shared libraries). I've never used Codeine so can't be of much help.
