Lots of games can be played under Linux using Cedega (costs money), or Wine (free):
TransGaming Inc.
Wine HQ
I'm not a gamer, so can't say for sure on that particular game, but someone will likely post an answer on that.oz

the one from TransGaming Cedega is a commercial
product and is specially built for games on the other side Wine HQ is an open source one
if you want to shell out some money Cedega would be a better one
but before you go for Cedega make sure that your favorate games are being supported by Cedega
Cedega Games Database
and remember the gaming performance would not match to that when played on Windows systemslife is the greatest opportunity that the nature had given you

Indeed BattleField 2 is supported by Cedega.
But can somebody tell me how much performance differs?

the game you are playing is not developed for linux, but they are designed for windows.
you are vertualizing the games on linux.
so the game performance of game will not be that great to that when played in windows.
some games may have smaller performance decrese and some may have a lot which all depends on cedega supporting the gamelife is the greatest opportunity that the nature had given you
