ATI Driver Issues Please Help

I keep geting this error from xwindow when booting up I don't know how many different setups i have tried now but its geting old I am geting tired of playing 20 questions with ati driver install.

yeah I have no idea what to put in for the mouse qustions I don't know why in gods name it needs that for video! And I guess i am doing the video options wrong for the 9600pro! I am running all the newest updates xfree86 3.0 and all of that I made sure of that

yeah, lookslike you need to find the flgrix or wahtever, butthat is a module in the ati-drivers install, try uninstallign and then installing again.

oh ive done that many times now same thing each time

Maybe that will help. At the very least, you should be able to configure X to use a generic driver if you didn't install over your old ones.
