Equaliser Equalizer Equali*er
Hi folks, there is a similar thread from two years ago but no useful responses.
Is there a "global" equaliser for kde, so I can turn down the default bass output from my 5.1 speakers?
I tried using VLC which has an Eq, but it seems to need to be invoked at every track, and does not seem to be able to save a custom set of settings..
I am currently trying Amarok, but its EQ is greyed out in the menu, the help file says, not very helpfully that Quote:
The built in equalizer is easy to use and works with all engines.
Well it is not, and it doesn't!
I would rather not use a "big" player like Amarok, I have had enough probs with WMP, Real Player, and I-Tunes copying my entire library into about seven different locations, and filling my hard drive..
....although in the 10 minutes I have spent trying it, it has impressed me with its search capabilities
Kaffeine seems unable to play mp3! I can't be b******red to download codecs for each and every format!
Any and all suggestions welcome, including other media/audio apps
