you know what i think that XMMS can do internet radio. i havent tryed it but i dont listen to much radio online. but it has the play from location thing and that is what i used on winamp to play internet radio.
What format do you want to listen to?
Isn't it streaming audio?
It is XMMS. It works better than winamp!!!!!!! :)
I know XMMS supports streaming audio from the Winamp website (.pls file types). They have some good internet radio stations on there... especially the techno. But don't bother if you're on dial-up, obviously. I mean they do have dial-up stream channels but it sounds like crap imo and still chops at the low bandwidth level.
I use XMMS on my box to listen to Internet Radio and it works good. As far as streams chopping or whatever, I mostly listen to Radio Free Colorado Radio Free Colorado Website and I don't have any trouble. :)
