Iam have been learning alot from this site its great! Have a question when on second life for linux when the media button is pressed Second Life crashes every time. They are aware of the problem but was wondering if any one here has a solution to this problem. Iam using ubuntu 8.10
When you launch ./secondlife fron terminal, what do you get on terminal while crashing?

If Linden Labs is aware of the problem and they haven't patched it yet, chances are not good for getting it fixed on your own. Unless of course you know how to write/read the source code.
