*.WMV DivX encoded? Strange quirk in *.WMV playback.
Okie dokie. I've got some files I'm trying to play.
They are supposivly *.WMV files. However, they're also labled as DivX encoded in their titles.
Now, trying to play these in Xine, I get some interesting errors.
The source seems encrypted, and cannot be read (Media Stream Scrambled/Encrypted)
From a similar file I get a different set of problems.
[wmv1 @ 0x1b81aec]invalid picture type
[wmv1 @ 0x1b81aec]header damaged
[wmv1 @ 0x1b81aec]error, slice code was 1
"etc for 80 lines or so"
Now, before you ask. Yes, there is a Win32 folder in /usr/lib/win32.
Contents as follows:
Now, I don't know if it's something I don't have configured correctly, or if the WMV DivX encryptions aren't fully supported yet. But I'd really like a clue as to where to go from here.
