Unhappy problem keyboard in X

my problem is the following; after some time, the keyboard got stuck in X. I have access to the console, but there are no error messages! Can you help me?

What do you mean by "stuck"? Does it work without X? Have a look at
Code:
 /var/log/Xorg.0.log
It should say what went wrong. Also, try unplugging it and plug it back in again... works for me )

By stuck, I mean that the keyboard is not responding. I can access ttys but there is nothing in Xorg.0.log . I cant unplug it because the problem is on a laptop.
