| I would make no /boot, just have it at the / partition (as I always do), have a decent / partition, maybe have a seperate /home (thought I call it /personal to make different operative systems have their own /home partitions and not mess up something because they use different versions of stuff, and a small /other partition where you can install other distros so that you won't have to earse gentoo if you ever would want to install an other OS or an other distro.
SO:

/personal partition
swap partition
