What exactly is happening when I type

? I haven't copied anything over because I don't understand what is happining in this step or the two previous lines:

Those are mounting some basic bits you require. Copy over /etc/resolv.conf, THEN chroot.

You should copy over /etc/resolv.conf to the chroot's /etc

Thats a good idea, I was using this one because the gentoo distro with dmraid suggested it at the prompt. I need to look at the handbook too, kindof forgot about it .
