Getting error in my customized Gentoo live cd

    Hello friends.
I have RTLinux on Gentoo live cd. I m trying to customize this live cd and create the iso image [mount the iso, extract the iso, add some doc files and make iso image].
I tried the existing link in Gentoo, Gentoo Linux Documentation -- Gentoo Linux LiveUSB HOWTO , Gentoo Forums :: View topic - [mini-HowTo] Gentoo Linux LiveCD for Dummies! and
But i failed, when i boot my customized live cd. It says "kernel image not find". I cant create my live cd successfully. Fortunately,I used "qemu" instead of directly writing into the cd. After that simply i mount and extracted the iso image [without add anything]. Created iso image again. But still its not working.I cant find, where i m doing wrongly.
Guide me how to customize my gentoo live cd and create a successful live cd.

    -Thanks n advance,

Tell the loader were the Kernel Image is
    /boot/vmlinuz if I recall correctly.
I had the same problem with Debian AND Red Hat Once.

Hope that Helps. (Sorry I cant be more specific..)
