X won't start on liveDVD
I downloaded the 2007.0 liveDVD for Gentoo, and when I try to run it X always fails to start. I have it set to boot to a prompt rather than just start GDM since that always fails as well, I type "startx" and then it goes to this blue screen and says that the x server has been disabled. What do I do?
Edit: My graphics card is an Nvidia 7300GT 256mb

Which video card do you have?
You could try using xorgconfig, to set your monitor.

And I can configure X from the live cd? I didn't think to try that because I just assumed you couldn't do it..

You can configure X for the LiveCD, but all your settings will be lost on re-boot. You could set it up to work and then copy the xorg.conf file to a safe place, then just copy it back to Sabayon after re-booting.
