Question about ibook
I want to try to install Gentoo on my laptop. Unfortunately it is an old laptop. It is an ibook with a powerpc 3 700 mHz processor. It has 128 of ram in it. Will Gentoo work on it. if so do i download the 32 bit one or the 64 bit? Please respond. Thanks

their is no need of starting seperate thread for each of your problem. Post all your problems in a single thread
am not sure of Gentoo requriments but i guess your system just satisfies minimum requriments

ugh, i didn't have the best experiences with ubuntu before when i installed it. Would rather try something new

Just go here and select a mirror that is close to you.
Then select "releases", then "ppc", and if you are not sure if you have a 32-bit or 64-bit, get the 32-bit as it can run on both architectures.How to know if you are a geek.
