    Portage problem?

    Emerging gnome. Get this problem. Any ideas?

    Remove the file and try emerging again
    /usr/portage/distfiles/gnome-media-2.6.0.tar.bz2

    Just fei, that error means that the source tarball is corrupt or that part of your portage tree is corrupt.

    Always hope for the first and delete that tarball before assuming that the portage tree is borked.
