    Gentoo doesn't have a graphical installer. As sarumont said, follow the handboot and you will be sorted. It does require a fair bit of work to install gentoo.

    well hell dach give me a little bit of credit im 17 an graduating from high school the only versions of linux ive ever run for more then a year would be red hat and mandrake, so to any other versions im new an thx the rest of ya'll for helpin me out, much appreciated

    Oh Jesus. I'm 15. I'm a sophmore. I've been using Linux for ONE MONTH. Gentoo for three weeks. Before that I knew nothing about Linux, except it was run by some evil UNIX/Penguin cult. And I was a Windows fanboy. How did I do it? How in the world did some stupid kid like me manage Gentoo, a "guru-only" distro? I read the manual, and followed the instructions religiously. And that first install of Gentoo taught me so much about Linux. Because I payed attention. I give you credit for trying, and that's very good.

    yeah im downloading it now, since i seen the link i been downloading it, now all i need to do is mess wit my cable modem an see if i can up my bandwidth (eh ill get in trouble like last time so maybe i better not lol) i may think about it if i get bored enough thx alot ya'll
