You follow the handbook on gentoo.org to install gentoo. It starts from choosing the correct ISO. Just follow it to the "T" and you'll be home free.

cant seem to install gentoo
Hi, my name is Dennis, I'm 17, recently built a linux computer for my high school senior project, but i cant seem to figure out how in the world to install gentoo, ive read just about every freakin page on Gentoo's website, to no avail, if any one could help me id be greatful, im new to every version of linux except mandrake which is what im running now, is there any way i can do a full text or graphical install on gentoo or would i have to compile almost every program manually? im hoping to have it installed before thursday when i do my next presentation at school in front of the district and board of Edu. and the NEIU....any help is greatly appreciated...Thank you for your time!
