    Timezone problem

    Everything is configured just fine but when I do uname -a the computer mess' up the timezone. I've tried to set it again and no effect. Any idea whats up?
    insomnia zoneinfo # ln -sf /usr/share/zoneinfo/EST5EDT /etc/localtime
    insomnia zoneinfo # ntpdate
    Looking for host and service ntp
    host found :
     2 Sep 14:34:43 ntpdate[17877]: step time server offset 4.784288 sec
    insomnia zoneinfo # uname -a
    Linux insomnia 2.6.8-ck4 #1 Wed Aug 25 23:12:10 Local time zone must be set--see zic manu i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

    Hmm.... the only thing I can think of is maybe try an env-update after running the timezone command, but I don't remember having to do that ever.
