    problems with reading DVD

    hi !

    i emerged xine to watch dvds.
    the problem is that xine always says that my dvd can't be read because its crypted.
    is there a plug-in or something because i can't find anything in the xine-options.

    emerge sync && emerge libdvdcss

    ----should this fail------

    emerge -s lib | grep dvd

    see what you can't find!

    you know, i use ogle (which supports dvd menus) or mplayer. And i've founded them to be better that xine

    mesut was correct.. you need to add USE="dvd" to your make.conf or run

    Code:
    USE="dvd" emerge -av xine
