I just installed Gentoo..When I boot my fglrx, nforce network and audio modules weren't loaded I followed the Gentoo installation guide to a T...Anyone know how to fix this?...

fglrx, nvnet, and nvaudio modules don't load at boot
I just installed Gentoo..When I boot my fglrx, nforce network and audio modules weren't loaded
I followed the Gentoo installation guide to a T...Anyone know how to fix this?
- 10-11-2004 #2That should probe them (if I have the correct module names). If that does it, you can add the modules to /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6 to get them loaded at boot time.Code:

I got nvnet and nvaudio working...But still no fglrx
When I did modprove fglrx I got a message about a tainted module or somethng

Try re-emerging ati-drivers. Make sure that the symlink /usr/src/linux points to the correct kernel tree.
