Issues installing GRUB
So after a lot of distro-hopping due to being new to Linux, I decided to give installing Gentoo a shot. All has been well up to now, however when I tried to use the automatic method of installing GRUB, I got this error:
grub-install --no-floppy /dev/sda Could not find device for /boot: Not found or not a block device.
grub> root (hd0,0) Filesystem type is ext2fs, partition type 0x83 grub> setup (hd0) Checking if "/boot/grub/stage1" exists... no Checking if "/grub/stage1" exists... no Error 15: File not found

Ok try this
grub-install --no-floppy /dev/hdaSome people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the grace of Linux, which just tells me they have never seen a angry penguin charging at them in excess of 100mph. They'd be a lot more careful about what they say if they had.
